Linking for Lesley

For Lesley and anyone else interested in the hobnob type biscuit recipe - the original is here on the MSE forums.

I double the amounts and it makes a good batch.  They freeze very well if you want to bake a big batch and save some for later.  If you don't freeze them, be sure to hide some or they will all be gone in a flash!

Oooh they sound lovely. Cam loves hob nobs so will be having a go this weekend. Sorting out a very un-organised cupboard this afternoon where I keep my recipe books - and found a recipe for chocolate brownies you emailed me in 2001. How time flies.

They were lovely! I think they might be my new favourite biscuit recipe. We all really liked them, and yes, they were gone in a flash!

@Lesley - so glad you liked them; I buy huge bags of oats to make these with as they are so popular at church events as well as with the family. They are so easy, too, to add flavourings to - chuck in a bag of chocolate chips, or some cherries or dried fruit for variety occasionally.
