Made us smile:-) Can just imagine mouse cleaning his sticky whiskers and saying " Oh Yum, My favourite!" We found only the old fashioned metal traps work. We got them from a farm supply company. - Mind your fingers!
That's exactly what happened to us! DH managed to catch one in the actual act of actually eating the peanut butter and hit it with a hammer. Good luck! WS xxx
I think that more metal traps might be on this week's shopping list; the gang have chipolatas on the menu tomorrow, so I might sneak a wee bite off the end of one to try that idea with, Scarlet - thanks for that. As for the cat, perhaps Shadow [our outdoor cat] might be persuaded to spend the night in here...she's never very keen to be shut in though. Glad you are all amused - I am having to keep the door firmly closed and packed from the other side, so it is like an ice box in here, and I am typing with my scarf and thick bodywarmer on to keep the chill off! Normally some heat from the woodburner might just permeate through here, but not at the moment :(
we have found Rentokil advance mouse traps the best they are easy to set and have dimple for bait which ensures mr mouse has to step over the mechanism
