Images from "home"

My heart is very deeply attached to Scotland, and I'm hoping that God will lead me back there one day to live.  One day.

Until then, I have to be satisfied with the occasional foray north of the border, and whiling away half an hour with a cuppa, looking at images like this....go on, have a look!  You'll love them too!  I just had to add that link to this blog somewhere - to share it with you, but also so that I don't lose it myself.  I'm going to have to share it with my FB friends too!

Lovely photos to start this sunny day with. Lots of memories for me as a big lover of Scotland which definitely draws me more than anywhere else ...except Wales and Western Ireland. I love the islands especially Orkney and the Western Hebrides. Those beautiful stones on Lewis are the most patterned I have seen and we saw an otter nearby. My husband regularly climbed in the Highlands and I was lucky enough to study in Aberdeen. When I turn 50 I'd love to visit the remote island of St Kilda to see the gannets _ saving has started. Scotland is truly beautiful....and then there are fairisle knits to wonder at!!

A place I would love to live too, a house in the middle of nowhere, pure bliss!

Orkney is beautiful Ali. Morgan, we spent 10 years living down south, 8 of them near the Fens. We missed Scotland terribly but knew that we had to stay put because of jobs. Eventually the opportunity came to move back north, home. Praying that the opportunity will arise for you too xx
