Gold Partridge Orpingtons

The parent birds - now two years old and still looking lovely!

Another group of GPOs. Pullets are from my own eggs, cockerel is from some bought-in eggs. All went for sale on Sunday.
The parent birds again - look at these markings!

Just gorgeous - but then I am biased! These are without a doubt my favourites.

Gosh - that's weird - they were very definitely eggs from these girls that I sent you! Can you send me a photo sometime? I'd love to know what happened there....throwbacks...a stray cockerel...the mind boggles!

Thinking more, GTM, that sounds like a Light Sussex cockerel got at the GPO hens if that is the colouring...but I didn't get anything out looking like that...still mystified here! Sorry.

Hope your little one is coping with her wheelchair - sending hugs to all of you. xxx

they have the LS sort of markings, yes thats its exactly!! but the deep gold colour body feathering, they lay small very oval shaped rather than the heavy rounded of the LS, pale white eggs? almost like a big bantam egg?
I will get some pics!! how marvelous lol!!!!!!

Are these your birds in the USA?

What a cheek?!?! They are very definitely my chickens - I am still using that old chocolate box as a drinker!! Wow - had better look into copywriting my photos...

Thanks for sharing!

Have you ever shipped to this Larry guy in the US?

No - I have never exported chickens or eggs, so whatever he is selling has absolutely no relationship with my chickens at all.
